Stephan Schlampp and Dr André Freckmann are qualified specialists in orthopaedics and trauma surgery at the Hanse Chirurgie surgical practice. These distinguished physicians have also completed various additional high-level training programmes – in the fields of endoprosthetics (modern methods of joint replacement surgery), surgery, manual therapy, preventative medicine, medical training therapy, acupuncture as well as postural diagnostics and therapy. For several years the work of well-known Hamburg specialist Stephan Schlampp has focused on the field of conservative and surgical orthopaedics and foot surgery.

At all Hanse Chirurgie’s Hamburg locations diagnostics is provided by means of the very latest technology and the use of magnetic resonance imaging, computer tomography and sonography. Whether an operation is actually required to correct a patient’s medical problem is painstakingly investigated and verified. Alternative conservative treatment methods also often help, which Stephan Schlampp and his team have an excellent command of.

Stephan Schlampp is a specialist in the field of foot surgery to treat sports traumatology as well as an acknowledged expert in foot surgery undertaken to preserve joints. This includes in particular forefoot deformities, hallux valgus (bunions), hallux varus (deviation of the big toe joint), hallux rigidus (arthritis of the big toe joint), hammer and claw toes, bone spurs, big toe joint replacements, fractures and joint dislocations as well as foot arthritis (degenerative diseases of the ankles).

Hanse Chirurgie provides an exceptionally high level of quality treatment due to various factors: its many years of medical experience, external quality assurance (DIN EN ISO 9001:2000) and ongoing scientific analysis of the surgery performed to improve outcomes.

Hanse Orthopädie orthopaedics units have five different surgeries in Hamburg: in Eppendorf, Bergedorf, Eidelstedt, Lokstedt and Altona.
