DERMATOLOGY OUTPATIENT CLINIC HAMBURG-ALSTERTAL
This well-known specialist centre for skin diseases and cosmetic dermatology is headed by Prof Hartwig Mensing and Dr Christian Mensing.
Experienced doctors, modern practice facilities and a friendly team guarantee the best diagnostic and therapeutic care as well as a perfect service for patients. The practice includes facilities for professional outpatient surgery, laser therapy sections, a unit for phlebological diagnostics and therapy plus an extensive lighting department.
An associated histopathology lab with a mycological subunit enables materials to be examined to be processed as quickly as possible with the advantage of providing ideal further treatment to each patient in the short-term.
The adjacent medical cosmetic institute works in close consultation with the doctors to improve skin condition, in particular with inflammatory disorders of facial and chest skin. In addition, correction of facial wrinkles is provided via botulinum toxin or fillers such as hyaluronic acid products.

UNDERSTANDING DERMATOLOGY
Dermatology is concerned with the investigation, treatment and care of patients with non-infectious and infectious disorders of the skin and with benign and malignant skin tumours; today it also includes the field of aesthetic and cosmetic treatments.
Skin precautions and skin cancer- Screening via whole body examinations and computer-aided pigmented mole analysis with the aid of reflected video light microscopy
