Joint Surgergy

			SPORT TRAUMATOLOGY, CHILD TRAUMATOLOGY AND THE TREATMENT OF DEGENERATIVE JOINT DISEASES are the special medical fields of Dr. Thomas Bohlen, Dr. Jürgen Küchlin and Helmut M.K. Weiberlenn. Thanks to the many years of experience of these health professionals, including club doctor at Harvesterhude HTC and FC St.Pauli and the use of the most modern treatment methods, they are among the major specialists in their field. At the Facharztklinik Martinistrasse, Eppendorf and the Praxisklinik Bergedorf we carry out arthroscopic operations on shoulders, elbows, knee joints and ankle joints. We also frequently do meniscus and cruciate ligament operations, as well as cartilage interventions and shoulder stabilisations. A particular specialist treatment we do is the transplantation of cultured cartilage cells (autologous 3D-chondrocyte transplantation). We also carry out joint replacement operations (arthroplasty) – cemented and cement-free hip arthroplasties, cap prostheses, surface replacement of knee joints, sled prostheses, and all types of shoulder arthroplasty. We carry out treatment of osteoarthritis (joint wear) stage adjusted and adapted to each individual patient. You can find Hanse Chirurgie at four different locations in Hamburg: Eppendorf, Bergedorf, Eidelstedt and Altona.
