Latest generation radiological equipment provides first-rate imaging support for the diagnostic process by way of highly precise magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as well as computed tomography scan (multiring CT, ultra-fast CT).

These diagnostic means allow the most detailed mapping of head, spine, the organs of thorax and abdomen, and joints. MRI and CT-Scan surpass the limitations of conventional X-ray technology. They allow for the detection of the most minuscule tumors (e.g. in the brain, lung or other organs) and pathological changes of the heart or deposits in the coronary arteries at an early stage.

THE INSTITUTE HAS AT ITS DISPOSAL 5 MRI AND 3 CT-SCANNERS

(4-slice, multi-slice and Ultrafast CT Scanners); all of which are stateof- the-art, equipped with the most recent hardand software-technologies available. This ensures a minimal exposure to radiation during CT-scan examinations.

In addition, all other radiological diagnostic procedures are available at the institution.
